Gentle restorative to calm the nervous system, yin to squeeze out stress, nidra to rest deeply, and dru to swirl around with your energy.
fully woven is offering an embodied mindfulness series in keeping with the seasons. We will be exploring seasonal themes through yin and restorative yoga, meditation, story-telling, and journaling.
We practice together on Wednesdays and Fridays 7PM – 9PM.
Autumn Series (Sept – Nov) is themed around harvest, taking stock, and storing up.
Winter Series (Dec – Feb) is themed around laying fallow, introspection, and getting cozy.
Spring Series (Mar – May) is themed around emergence, hope, and renewal.
Summer Series (June – Aug) is themed around abundance, golden days, and taking it easy.

Yin yoga focuses on our connective tissues (ligaments, bones, and joints). Although this is a passive practice there remains the challenge of staying present with some potentially uncomfortable sensations. Shapes will be sustained for 3 – 7 minutes and tend to remain close to the ground.
Restorative yoga soothes the nervous system. This is a completely passive class with the use of props to ensure minimal muscle engagement and full relaxation. Bring your favourite pillow and blanket — we’re going to be as content as a basket full of kittens.
Meditation will be in the tradition of Vipassana (or insight) meditation and practiced in silence either in slow purposeful movements or in a comfortable static shape.
Journaling is useful for tapping into our deeper, intuitive wisdom. For those times when words fail us we can still access that wisdom via stream of consciousness journaling, which combines using our non-dominant hand, collage, and other methods of free-form creative expression. This is one technique that taps into the creative and healing power of our right brain — the side which specializes in visual/spatial perception as well as emotional and intuitive expression.
- These series are offered in a home with two small dogs and a cat, and while they will not be in the room during our practices this is their home and allergens may be present.
- I have a severe scent allergy; please refrain from wearing and/or bringing any scented products into our practice space.

We are located in the Commercial Drive neighborhood of East Vancouver.

We don’t provide the address on the website because we do not allow drop-in participants. Once you are registered as a participant you will be provided with the address.

How much do classes cost?
fully woven embraces the practice of mindful payment. You are invited to reflect upon your experience and offer a donation you reckon expresses the value you received and a donation that you are comfortable and happy to give.

Money shall not be barrier to participation; remember: your presence is of value too. If you are interested then go ahead and register. You are welcome to attend. There will never be any pressure to pay for anything offered.

What can/can’t I bring to the event?
Bring your yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing.
Bring a journal and any writing utensil(s) you prefer.
Please refrain from wearing and/or bringing scented products.
Is my registration transferable?
No, your registration is for you and you alone. If someone you know would like to attend have them contact me for an invitation.
Please let me know in advance if you can (or cannot) attend your classes. Because this is a small home studio I do not allow any walk-ins or last minute drop-ins. If you show up unannounced, you run the risk of being turned away at the door. Sessions here fill up quickly — reserve your spot in advance! If you reserve a spot but are inconsistent with your attendance, your spot may be given to another participant. If this happens, you may put your name on a waiting list for upcoming openings.
